Introduction: Hello! My name is George Estrada and I have been teaching the piano for over 25 years now. I also have 41 years of experience in practicing the piano with a portion of that time doing recitals and competitions. During this time I have been instructing lessons exclusively in the residences of my students. However, since the COVID-19 situation demands social distancing, I have switched to remote lessons via Zoom. I have openings to accept more students via internet to pass on my knowledge and experience in this wonderfully enjoyable art. I know that lots of kids and adults alike are at home doing remote school or work. I would like to help people use this extra time at home to enjoy this fun and productive art! I love seeing my students develop themselves as musicians as well as the lessons they take with them from learning music to the rest of their lives. George has been teaching my 10 year old daughter to play piano for about a year. Not only is he a knowledgeable piano player, he is also incredibly patient and kind. My daughter didn’t play the piano at all prior to these lessons and she loves playing. I believe that’s a testament to the way George teaches and interacts with kids.

George is a wonderful teacher. He is patient, kind, encouraging and constuctive. He gently helps you get better, advising not just how to play a piece, but more importantly, how to practice and how to master each phrase. I really love being taught by George.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $30 per half hour and $50 per hour, when teaching in person. Lessons run $20 per half hour and $40 per hour if done on Zoom or Skype. You can pay per lesson or pay per month. My hours of availability are more dynamic than stated on this website because the website template only allows the hours to apply to each day evenly. Ask me when I am available!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When we first meet to interview me, you can meet me at a local coffee shop or cafe. Lessons are in the convenience of your own home or via Zoom or Skype.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching piano for over 25 years and studied music in college before changing careers.
