The SAT, ACT, and GRE are high-stakes exams. Whether or not you're a fan of standardized tests, you're probably here because you have to deal with one of them. Good news - we're test prep specialists, and everything we do is designed to help you raise your scores. Not only will higher scores give you a leg up on your competition (who might think "test-optional" means "I don't have to take the test"), but they can also help you get scholarships.
We're probably the most expensive test prep tutors in San Diego. Why? In stark contrast to our competitors - who employ a rotating cast of 23-year-olds - our tutors have an average of 10 years of experience. We pay them really well because we only hire tutors who are already extremely good at what they do. In addition to tutoring, we also teach small group SAT classes and GRE classes.
We've also got a ton of free resources on our blog for all you do-it-yourselfers out there.
BTW, we also offer prep for the GMAT, ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT tests, and graduate school personal statement / statement of purpose advising.

By the grace of God we found Blake Jensen! He has helped our daughter since her Sophomore year. Starting with pre-calculus and chemistry tutoring, then helping her formulate a summer study plan for the PSAT, Blake has been a huge key to her success. She qualified for National Merit on the PSAT!Most recently, Blake helped her get a 33 on the ACT the first time she took it! Her confidence is soaring and we could not be more proud!He has also been instrumental in instructing her through AP Calculus AB. Shes taking it online and meeting with Blake weekly to work through any unclear sections. Blake is more than just a tutor, he has a very calming demeanor and he has been instrumental in helping us with college exam date planning in addition to strategies and mental conditioning for exams. We are confidently counting on him to help her through five AP exams in May! We are so excited for her bright future.Blake, thank you for everything you have done for Audrey!

I wanted to write this post and thank Blake for the EXTRAORDINARY work he did with my daughter in training her, encouraging her, and giving her the tools to get a near perfect score on the ACT.I am an educator myself, training medical students, residents, and fellows to be the next generation of healthcare leaders. SAT SCORE RAISED 260 POINTS!! My daughter tutored with Blake for three months to improve her SAT score . He is extremely patient, kind and understanding. He pushed her when he knew she could do better or if she got a bit lazy. She really enjoyed his style of teaching. He taught her good study habits and test taking skills. Blake was even able to ease her test anxiety. I will be recommending Blake to every parent I know. He is worth every penny!!

Blake was an excellent ACT tutor for our sixteen year old son. Blake encouraged and supported our son consistently. Our son improved his score by five points working with Blake after only 2 months. Blake is kind, smart, understanding and reliable. He was able to identify weaknesses and construct a strategy that facilitated improvement and success. Our son also struggled with timing and I believe Blake instilled some helpful suggestions and fueled confidence in our son from his years of experience in helping other kids manage their time anxiety in that regard.

Blake was a seriously passionate teacher who had the SAT completely mastered. All of the practice tests and books were pretty difficult but it was worthwhile in the end. If you want a surefire way to improve your score, go to Blake and stay dedicated to what he tells you to do.
