FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard fee is $150 for the intake session and $140 for all other sessions, but will work with clients who have financial difficulty to get the services they need. I take credit and debit cards, checks, and cash. I also take all PPO insurances and some HMO's.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important to build rapport and trust with my clients in order for therapy to be effective. There is an initial intake that takes place, followed by a few sessions to build connection, assess my client's strengths, and formulate a plan for healing and resolution. Then process and resolution takes place. Clients are done with therapy when they have met their own personal therapeutic goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in marriage and family counseling. Countless hours of internships, trainings, non-profit counseling, and counseling through my own private practice over 18 years have helped me hone my abilities to help my clients move forward to be the people they want to be.
