Introduction: I do believe how a student must be taught and I communicate in a most effective way and encourage the student to practice violin, not as a chore but as a fun activity. When we get a difficult piece of music, I clarify and demonstrate in a simple way, play them as many times as needed, until the student understands the musical idea. Teaching students, and utmost enjoyment when I see their progress.

As an adult beginner, I did not exactly know what to expect when it came to a music teacher. I’ve never taken up an instrument in my life, and to start now, with the violin - this would be challenging. So when it came to Nader’s years of experience, and step by step instruction, I found the experience not so overwhelming, and full of potential. I’ve been taking lessons for 28 weeks now, and I’ve seen how Nader has molded me so far. Firstly, building upon basics, and laying down a foundation, which seemed strict and formal, but necessary as my skills progressed. We’ve covered many compositions by different composers so far, touching on the very fundamentals that have honed my technique, such as reading music, practicing scales/arpeggios, and duets. I’m excited to build on this and progress to higher positions, and of course learning vibrato. Throughout the journey, our love of classical music has always been the motivation behind our paths. He’s always passionate about the story a musical piece can portray - building/releasing tension, using a minor/major scale, time signatures - and as such encourages listening to as much music as possible! Youtube, Spotify, anything to hear such great artists as Bach, Beethoven, Paganini, or Wieniawski; to see such great artists compete in the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition; and the numerous videos on musical history, music theory, documentaries - the internet is such a great tool. I was nervous when I first began. Worried I had bitten off more than I could chew; excited to play Partita D minor BWV 1004 by JS Bach and never reaching that level; but in truth, I’ve found this to be one of the most challenging endeavors I’ve ever taken on and am loving every moment of it. It has added a whole new light of appreciation in music, as well as an enlightening aspect of neurological intrigue.

After several lessons with Nader, I stay enthusiastic about training and see regular improvment. Unlike some other super mean teacher listed out those unbelievable conditions to take her class, Nader has more easy going personality and really cares about your violin skill improvement and the class quality. He Besides, the hourly rate is quite reasonable. I feel more comfortable to have him as my teacher for my long-term violin study.

I specifically selected Nader as my violin instructor because of his experience teaching adult beginners. I'm an absolute beginner with the violin and with reading music. I've been taking lessons for a month now and have made solid progress with both. Nader was the right choice for me and I look forward to working with him long term.

After developing interest in the Violin this late in the game as I over 30 years old, I decided to go ahead and get some private lessons. I am very fortunate to have found Nader. I have been taking lessons from him for close to two months now and could not be happier with the progress I have made. Nader is very friendly, funny, and a compassionate teacher. His teaching methods work very well and I am amazed how far I have gotten in this short amount of a time. He does push you to your abilities in an effective manner while also being very patient and adjusts his teachings so it will be tailored to your personal needs. It is clear that Nader has a passion for music and teaching thereof. It is obvious also from his impressive background with his various degrees in the art of music.

I rented a violin and spent 2 months attempting to teach myself. I could not figure out how to make the instrument sound as beautiful as I knew it could. Mr. Tabar spent 6 minutes adjusting my rental violin, and by the end of my first (free!) lesson, we were playing a short duet. I can now practice without the frustration of the squeaky strings or concern that I am offending anyone's ear. I am 30, and even though I recently started college, I was more nervous about calling for violin lessons than going back to school. Mr. Tabar made me feel very comfortable and I have a great deal more confidence in learning this instrument than I ever thought I would. I look forward to my upcoming lessons, and I can't wait to play more intricate music.
