- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My "a la carte" pricing for lessons is $40 per 30 minutes. Easy, pay per lesson. First lesson usually runs long at no additional charge. For those that prepay monthly, I also allow makeup lessons. Gigs: Wedding ceremony expert, I've been playing weddings since 1993. Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music available. 1-3 hour event groups, pick one or more: guitar and violin duo swing jazz trio rockabilly country quartet fun! Appraisals: $80 first instrument $100 bow with instrument Consignments, consults, etc. contact for special services Quality starter violin outfit $600 plus tax. Free delivery anywhere in the continental US. Violin Rentals start at $30-40 per month, 3 month minimum. First year of rent may be used as a credit towards a purchase. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask if the Student has played an instrument before . I ask what kind of music they like. Then what are their musical goals.
