We strive to produce unique and poetic spaces with competitive fees. We have been working in the Bay Area for many years and are familiar with local codes, and have connections to suppliers and contractors. We believe that architecture should radiate the warmth of tactility and spatial quality. I just finished a project with Feifei. I had started my project by interviewing 7 to 8 architects. Most of the architects provided basic 2D architectural plans and didn't match the modern and minimalist style that I was looking for. Feifei's pricing wasn't the highest or lowest but it's somewhere in the middle. What she provided overall was so much more:
1. Feifei was flexible and brainstormed with me on how we would divided up the projects into 3 phases so that we can get construction going ASAP.
2. Feifei was consistently responsive whenever I had any questions or requests. Our project took close to 10 months to get through 3 phases. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire time.
3. Feifei provided material advice including places to get good quality products for a great price. She also told me when a quote didn't make sense and provided other options which was extremely helpful.
4. Feifei's work is so much more than what other architects provide. She does 3D renderings of her design to give you a visual which is very helpful when you need to decide whether or not you like an element she included.
5. Feifei is so creative and really is a master in designing modern and contemporary homes. When we saw her website, I was wow'd by her designs, but I wasn't sure if she could pull off meeting all of our criteria. One of our major redesign was to take out the entrance of our house and make it grander, modern, let lights through but still provide us with privacy. It was a difficult combinations. When we saw Feifei's design we were completely wow'd by it. She was able to keep the design very affordable and was even able to recommend a good vendor to sell us the pivot door we wanted but had gotten quotes elsewhere that were way over our budget.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Feifei for her professionalism, dedication, and creative design!
Note: to anyone who is considering doing home remodeling, I do recommend that you connect with the city where you need to pull permits yourself. This allows architects like Feifei to free up their time and do what they do best. Most cities also get back to homeowners much faster than architects. You can get the response you're looking for much faster!

We hired Fay and her team to work on our mountain hotel lobby renovation and club house. We were truly impressed by the her team's creative thoughts and efficiency. We hired an architect before them but ISO ideas produces much better quality work and with fast turn around. They were very versatile to address our requests and very friendly professionals to work with. I highly recommend to other business and home owners.

Feifei helped us remodel and decorate our new home in California. Her team was very patient in selecting from flooring to wall finishes, to furniture and artworks that are of good quality and within our budget. I was overseas and cannot be onsite, but she and her team looked after purchasing and installing without us having to worry too much and her team did magic to the spaces. Without question we would definitely work with her again in any future new homes.

We offer competitive rate services for high quality design.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually prefer to meet the client in person to get a better understanding of their needs and budget. Then we will refine the design scope to draft a formal proposal. Once signed, we will share mood boards, draft plans, do renderings, revise according to client's feedback and submit for permit. We also have our own contractor, or we are happy to work with other contractors and do construction documents and construction administration to make sure what is on paper is fully executed in real life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The founding members graduated from MIT, UPenn and Princeton University and have previously managed major architectural projects in internationally acknowledged firms, including SOM, HOK, Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Kengo Kuma and Associates, Stanley Saitowitz | Natoma Arhictects. We bring this experience to the project we work on here in California.
