We hired Shaum for help with a sidewalk dining project for an Alehouse . He is very professional and took the time to listen and review requirements. Has a great aesthetics sense of space, made some great suggestions that was outside the box. Highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique, with its own set of opportunities and challenges. Our pricing is very fair and competitive, and based on the specific job. In most cases we will come by in person for a free initial consultation.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is to understand each client's needs and desires. From there we can devise a strategy to achieve these goals based on the circumstances of the specific site. Our goal is provide the most economical strategy that fulfills each client's vision for their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Architecture, as well as a Bachelor's degree in political science. I teach architecture at the Academy of Art University, and have worked in architecture firms for over 15 years. I am also a licensed general building contractor, and have worked on projects of all sizes for over 20 years.
