I have worked with many architects in the past and working with Isaac was a breeze. He is responsive and very detailed on his answers.
We wanted to keep things simple in our remodel; with minimal City requirements impact and being able to move things thru the SF system in an expedited manner. Isaac was able to achieve that, even in the middle of a pandemic.
Isaac has good ideas, he is OK pulling back when needed or expanding when asked. His flexibility without taking anything personal is a really good trait. I'm certain this was a small job for him but still treated us with utmost respect and followed up with us and the City just as if this was a huge lucrative job.
His experience is vast and I will definitely call him weather is to do a new build or another house remodel.

Isaac is an exceptional architect to work with. He listens intently and pays close attention to detail. We are using Isaac for a renovation of a single family home. We could see his eagerness and commitment to our project immediately. We can call on him for all our questions whenever something comes up and get immediate response. He has been knowledgeable about everything and will do added research to get us the background information. He is very strategic in design layouts and flexible about changes. He has a strong knowledge about the permitting process and helped us navigate through the myriad of regulations. But mostly, he is just very personable and easy to work with. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with him as we complete our project.

Isaac has been a pleasure to work with. He's always responsive and pays great attention to detail. We were absolutely pleased with the options he presented us, and because my wife and I were not great at visualizing 2D plans, his 3D renderings were so amazing they were nearly lifelike. When we handed the drawing package to our general contractor, they actually thought they were real photographs.
We would not hesitate to work with Isaac again and absolutely would recommend him (and we have!) to our friends and family.
FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge for an initial project consultation. Once I fully understand the scope of the project, I will send you a proposal that documents my fee structure.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we'll sit down and discuss your needs and goals. I'll want to visit the project site. I'll advise you of items you might need to procure for me to complete the work such as a survey or a soils report. Once I fully understand the project, I'll advise you on any outside consultants that might be necessary to complete the work (i.e.: a structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, or a mechanical engineer, etc.). Once a project gets underway, I'll typically arrange periodic meetings with you review progress and incorporate your feedback.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Masters Degree in Architecture from Yale School of Architecture. I am certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate by the International Code Council as a CALGreen Inspector / Plans Examiner. I am licensed to practice architecture in California and Oregon.
