We purchased a classic Piedmont home built in the late 1920's, with a fine overlay of 1960's upgrades. We went through a different architect for the first round of structural upgrades, but while technically competent,did not get a vision for realizing the potential of the home. Tecta introduced a completely new way of thinking about the space, and created a unique and beautiful space, with dramatically better usability. The lead architect, Ahmad Mohazab, is particularly gifted when it comes to coming up with completely unique approaches and striking visual design. We converted a "hat room" and sleeping porch into a gorgeous master bed and bath, created a guest bath on the main floor, and upgraded to a grander entryway. When my wife and I disagreed on a design or layout question, Ahmad tactfully led us to an answer that we could both live with. No marriage counseling required... Permitting was a breeze, due to a deep understanding of the code and a strong personal relationship that Ahmad has with the city council and planning commission. We strongly recommend Tecta.
