Carissa Blossom

Introduction: I am a Chinese language tutor with experience tutoring university students. I grew up in a Chinese speaking country and also studied the language in university, graduating magna cum laude. Since graduating, I have been working in Shanghai and Singapore in dual-language jobs. Having worked as an au pair twice during university, I am also very good with kids. I am a big believer in teaching two different learning styles. I believe in getting to know my students, learning their passions and strengths. I try to shape my teaching style to work with those strengths and carry students' passions over to the Chinese language. I focus on teaching in an approachable way that makes a language as challenging as Mandarin, easy and fun to learn! I love teaching. I'm patient and passionate about my subject.
