- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When it comes to our IT service pricing, here’s what you need to know: Straightforward and Transparent: Our pricing system is designed to be simple and clear. Efficient Service: Most jobs are completed within two hours, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Estimates: All prices quoted through Thumbtack are estimates. Based on our extensive experience in previous projects in various fields, these estimates are generally very accurate and can provide you with reliable ballpark figures. Minimum Charge for Services: For home onsite service minimum charge is 1 hour. For business onsite service, there is a minimum charge of 2 hours. Billing Increments: All services, whether remote or onsite, are billed in 15-minute increments after the Minimum Charge. Travel Fee: There is a $30 travel fee for all onsite services. We believe starting with a brief phone discussion to identify the problem is key to effectively solving the issue. We usually start with free phone diagnostic, which our customers appreciate as it sometimes helps fix small issues with our tips at no cost. The next step is to provide a estimate or proposal based on the phone diagnosis.
