He ended up breaking the drain pipe. Made a mess and caused me to need a second job. dr Drain gave me a quote from the pictures and was out in 30 min. Not only was the drain repaired, he cleaned up the mess from the first plumber and gave me a receipt and video. I 100% recommend this vendor. When someone is professional, responsive and technically strong, there's nothing better."See more

Nina L. says, "Albion Plaka, owner of their Vertex Plumbing, was also responsive and punctual. He was knowledgeable, professional, and affordable. I had asked him for an estimate after reading reviews from a lot of happy customers on Thumbtack. He came at 3:40 pm to give me the estimate. I had a leaky kitchen sink. My garbage disposal was also not working. I thought that the garbage disposal might be related to an electrical problem I had in November. Albion gave me a very affordable estimate. I hired him and we were discussing when he could come out and do the job. He was very flexible about working around my retail job schedule. He said he could come on Sunday afternoon to do the repair. He thought he might have one part he needed in his truck. He had it, and ended up did the repair needed then. His price for time and parts was a fourth of the other estimates. He had confirmed that the garbage disposal was not broken. It was an electrical issue. The other estimates included putting in a new garbage disposal for an average price of $450. With replacement of the sink’s pipes, a new strainer and the labor for the job, estimates were much higher. If it hadn’t been for Albion’s checking the garbage disposal, I would have paid much more. The other words I’d use to describe him and his work are comprehensive, honest, prompt, clear communicator, provides quality workmanship, attention to detail, transparent pricing, and excellent problem-solving skills."See more
