- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After working for a corporation for 12 + years, I decided that maybe it was time to try something new. I thought about what I was good at and what I had enjoyed doing in the past. Event planning/coordinating seemed like an obvious path.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I hadn't planned on it but the majority of my jobs are weddings.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently planned a big, formal wedding for a couple who lived overseas. Although the guest list was extremely small, the couple wanted all the bells and whistles of a big wedding. The couple was generous enough to trust my creative/artistic suggestions which was great since we were planning the entire wedding via email. Everything turned out beautifully.
