- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50/hr for most projects and try to estimate my time at that rate. Please be aware that prior to working on this platform I would almost never estimated work without inspecting it in person as that is the most accurate method.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I try to only estimate work within my field of work. I greet them and try to zero in on the most accurate estimate at the beginning of each project and discuss the situation at the beginning of the work. I proceed with the project once a mutually satisfactory arrangement is agreed upon.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Aside from 20 years of experience as a builder I design projects as well. Whole restaurants (if you live in SF you may have already seen my work), simple, functional and hopefully beautiful furniture, decks and more. My only formal training is as a metal worker but the strongest of my skill sets I have picked up from experience.
