Introduction
I worked as an international multimedia and investigative reporter for nearly a decade. My photos from Venezuela, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all over the world, have been published by everyone from the New Yorker to Reuters. I now live a calmer life in San Francisco with my wife and daughter.
I'm a personable, energetic, yet discreet documentary-style photographer, preferring fleeting moments which convey emotion over awkward smiles and poses.
I love photographing everything from small events—engagements, weddings, birthdays, baby showers, graduations—to simply hanging out with you and your family for an hour to capture candid moments.

Girish did an amazing job capturing beautiful shots at our party. We loved all photographs, but the candid photos were especially nice - his attention to lighting, angles, and placement is outstanding. He's great at putting everyone at ease and was responsive to any of our needs and requests.
