I have worked as an installer and repairman for years. I am careful, detail oriented, considerate and neat. Please see the photos I have uploaded of past jobs: dining room chandeliers, tech firm cabinetry, custom hardwood closet installation, steel garage cabinets and rope/pulley elevated bike racks. I base my estimate on an hourly rate of $75/hr.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am happy to provide a free estimate in person before I start work. I come up with a "not to exceed" price and even if the job takes longer I stick to my estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 20's I apprenticed (and then worked full time for) an established East Bay custom cabinet shop. After that I worked for years in the maritime industry as an engineer and charter fleet manager which constantly required my skills with tools in woodworking, electrical wiring and plumbing.
