I'm Evan. 1) I'm handy 2) helping people and solving problems is my love language and 3) I'm trying to put that skillset to use to offset some graduate school loans before the mafia comes looking to settle up. What I am not: someone who has been doing this professionally for 30 years, decorated in certificates and licensure What I am: self taught over the past 15 years on an as-needed basis. I kept finding $250-500 handyman price tags, for something that I'd later learn would only take me 30 minutes to problem solve and $10 in parts. My prices reflect that! I can't promise that it will *LOOK* as good as the 30 year professional but I'll do my best and I can guarantee you it will WORK as well. And I will ask enough questions in advance to make sure that I'm the right guy for the job. For even more context that you didn't ask for, I'm finishing my MBA at UC Berkeley, which means I've been trained to solve problems efficiently and make it look like I knew what I was doing the whole time even if I didn't. Things I've done: Installed/repaired/removed/replaced: faucets and showerheads, indoor and out garbage disposals electrical outlets, light switches, lights, etc many types of devices: washers, dryers, dishwashers, irons, lamps, power tools, power washers, garage door openers, woodshop/workshop equipment door knobs, locks, doorbells, electrical and analog Landscaping and drip irrigation Assembled more furniture than the guy that's paid to do it at the busiest IKEA warehouse in the world Air conditioning / heater units (they'll charge you $350 just to troubleshoot which fuse is broken and replace it.
