- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack clients benefit by receiving a discount on my pricing. The initial consultation is $375 for up to 90 minutes. Clients outside of Thumbtack are charged $425 for up to 90 minutes. You will come away from our meeting with very specific recommendations and ideas to move forward on your own or proceed with us working together. We work together to determine the fee, whether it be hourly or on a project fee basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is talking on the phone. I'd like to hear about your design project and want to thoroughly answer your questions about my process. Once we get to know one another a bit through conversation, we set a time to meet at your home or office for an initial consultation. I like to take a tour of your home or office even though we may only be working on a few rooms. It's important to me that what we create together is in harmony with your existing space. At the end of the meeting you will receive ideas and recommendations from me and we decide together about next steps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Architectural Color Consultant (CACC), trained and mentored by Teresa Tullio of The Business of Color. She provides ongoing levels of training throughout the year to increase student's skills. We have the opportunity to stay 'current' on the science of color and its effect on human's emotional and physical health. I also stay current as an interior designer by taking seminars and am always reading and researching changes in design.
