Rachel, thank you for the lovely review. It was great meeting with you. Your office is on its way to being even more welcoming, comfortable and beautiful. It speaks to who you are and your clients will benefit from that as well. My best, Rachelle
I got in touch with Rachelle for a color consultation after realizing that the color I had chosen for our walls was a bad choice. She was extremely helpful in working with me to find the right color as well as teaching me about the nuances of color. Rachelle took many color-influencing factors into consideration that I would have never thought to evaluate on. The walls are now finished and look amazing! I highly recommend Rachelle.May 23, 2018VerifiedRachelle G.'s reply
Jordan, I am so happy that the 'new' color worked for you! You listened to your intuition and put the project on hold then reached out for color consultation...Bravo! We did it. Such a pleasure working with you. Thanks for the pics. I would love to see your space after you're all moved in and settled. And, if you wouldn't mind, it would be great to snap some 'after' pictures. Best to you in your new home. Rachelle

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Certified Architectural Color Consultant (CACC), trained and mentored by Teresa Tullio of The Business of Color. She provides ongoing levels of training throughout the year to increase student's skills. We have the opportunity to stay 'current' on the science of color and its effect on human's emotional and physical health. I also stay current as an interior designer by taking seminars and am always reading and researching changes in design.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I'm a big fan of honest, authentic self-expression...both inside and out! For many years I had been a psychotherapist (the inside part) and in 2000 I made a decision to also work with people to express themselves in their environments (the outside part). It meets my creative needs and clients appreciate the melding of the two.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Clients who wish to have a professional assist them with choosing colors they will love living with. Residential interior design...anything from assisting folks to work with what they already have in their homes but change the layout. Perhaps a piece of furniture or new pillows is all that's affordable or needed. That works to change the 'feel' in a room. On a larger scale, designing entire home color palettes, furnishings and window treatments. There is no 'most common' job really. It always feels fresh and new to me.
