Actually, the pro contacted me one time through Home Gnome and then found my direct contact information. After working in my front and back yards on May 12th & 13th, he handed me a bill. I was confused, but paid him and cancelled Home Gnome. Later I learned from Home Gnome that he wasn't supposed to do that. Now I see one of my windows in the backyard is cracked! I noticed a lot of rocks on the patio. He worked in the backyard (weeding). On Friday, May 16th I sent him a message asking why he didn't tell us about the cracked window, and he has not responded. The window was not cracked prior to him working in our backyard. Now we see this man was dishonest all around! I found Home Gnome on Thumbtack. He said he goes through Lawn Starter, but in fact, my job request was on Thumbtack where I discovered Home Gnome. His name is Ron and he calls his company Service Squad.
