Introduction: Angelique Millette, PhDc, CLE, PCD/CD (DONA), works with families with many different sleep arrangements and parenting philosophies.
Angelique developed the Millette Method, a unique approach to solving baby/child sleep issues. The Millette Method includes a range of sleep methods: no/low crying, as well as crying methods, room sharing, bed sharing, crib sleeping, sibling sharing rooms, and twins/higher order multiples.
All of Angelique's methods encourage parent presence and take into account parental sleep deprivation, parental overwhelm, infant/child development, developmental milestones, and infant/child temperament.
Angelique also assists families with challenging toddler/young child behaviors. Angelique's techniques encourage playfulness and family bonding and are developmentally appropriate based on a toddler or young child's ability to understand what is expected of them. Some of the challenging behaviors include: Potty learning issues, biting, hitting, kicking, and jealousy and sibling rivalry.
Angelique's clients have overwhelming praise for her methods and often say that her methods not only lead to the child's sleep issues or problem behavior going away, but also lead to a better understanding about the child and enhanced family bonding.
