- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend annual events and conferences with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) to keep up with trends and the evolution of the industry.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been planning semi-formal dinners and themed parties since 2006. Since 2009, I have worked as an intern alongside professional planners in Cleveland & Columbus, Ohio, San Francisco, and Florence, Italy. I really decided to get in this line of work when I realized I had acquired resources, partnerships and a profound love of planning.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Common requests from clients include budget analysis and vendor referrals within the budget.
