- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From a very young age I loved to coach the young swimmers on my swim team. It was incredibly rewarding to see their improvement and to see how that motivated them. I also loved creating dryland and weight conditioning workouts for myself that weren't boring and workouts that I actually enjoyed doing. I decided to get my Personal Training certification because I'm very passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find a trainer that you feel comfortable with. Before I start training anyone I like to meet with the individual beforehand and get to know them. This is a great way for the prospective client to see if I'll be a good fit for them.
