We take care of your cat where they're most comfortable, in your home. *Hours listed are the best times to contact us - sits can (and do) happen all throughout the day!* Home Visit (Economy, 30 or 60 mins) - Love and playtime, morning and evening feeding options, medication administration, litter scooping, and pet care journals with pictures of your pet emailed with every visit. We can also pick up the mail, take out trash, rotate the lights, water plants or anything else you might need around the house. Multiple visits per day and overnights available. This was our first time using Precious Fur (or any pet sitting service) to watch our 2 kitties, and we were amazed beyond our expectations for how wonderful they were with them. We were out of town for just over a week, and towards the end of our vacation, one of our kitties had an unexpected medical emergency. Jessica noticed right away that he wasn't feeling very well and was able to get him into the pet hospital that same evening to be treated. She dispensed his pain killers and made sure he was hydrating, eating, and was comfortable for the last few days we were away. We came home to kitties who were extremely happy, even after the medical emergency and disruption in their usual routine. We will definitely be using Precious Fur again and would recommend Jessica and Craig to anyone looking for a pet sitter. The care and love they showed our babies was beyond what we were expecting. They treated them like their own little family, and it makes the anxiety of leaving them when we are out of town a bit easier.

Jessica and Donnelle have been lifesavers for us and our cat. They were able to accommodate my last-minute scheduling requests and have always been very responsive with our communication. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cat Sitting - Home Visit Options include: Economy (~20 mins) Anytime $37; 30 minute AM, PM or Anytime $40; and 60 minute AM, PM or Anytime $68. Cat Sitting - Overnight is $165 per night. Surcharges may apply for guaranteed early or late visits, medication administration, or last-minute booking. A holiday fee of +$10 will be applied for all services scheduled on the following days: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King Jr. Day; President's Day; Easter; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; Day after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

New client? Visit our website to create an account and schedule a free New Client Initial Consult and the days you'll need services. Prior to your departure, we'll visit your home, meet you and your furry family, answer any questions you have, review your profile details and collect 2 sets of keys.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Precious Fur was created after dealing with the stress of finding a sitter on short notice. We want to serve all San Francisco residents that need a cat sitter, whether with a few weeks notice or a few days notice. Our team absolutely loves cats, and we want to make sure every cat is cared for, regardless of their needs or their human’s travel schedule.
