FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being a psychotherapist has been a lifelong calling for me. I decided to do this at an early age. I have always found it extremely interesting and endlessly challenging. This has not changed for me. I am still very enthusiastic about my work and very grateful for it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I help couples who are frustrated with each other and feel unsatisfied with parts of their relationship. This could be their roles, parenting, finances, and/or emotional and sexual intimacy. I often help couples where only one person is truly motivated to save the relationship at the beginning. I am good at getting both people involved even when the problems may have been there a long time. I don't get discouraged by that or recommend separation or divorce.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Therapy is not just for problems, it is also for growth. Forty years of research has clearly shown that individuals who seek out therapy do far better than those who don't. These research results have been repeated over and over again. This little known fact has been kept a secret by mental health professionals to their and the public's demise!!
