About
I am a professional working musician who teaches guitar and bass lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. I am a fun and patient teacher who encourages students with experience and insight into their learning process.
I teach all styles but primarily rock-based lessons, sight reading and music theory. I know electric or acoustic styling for rock, blues, metal, funk and country. Whatever your tastes; I can help.
In addition, I offer recording, production and mastering services using Pro Tools and Logic Pro. I've recorded projects for many Bay Area bands in my Mission District project studio.Nerve Center is an excellent choice if you want a quick, inexpensive demo or to spend more time with overdubs than you can afford at other studios.

Ralph is a remarkably intuitive and efficient one man studio to record with. Being a world class guitarist and teacher doesn't hurt. Also having played in excellent bands for so long gives him range.
I recently did a recording with him that was a rush job of sorts with lots of fixes and he was amazing.
He can actually tailor whatever recording project to the wants and needs of the artist. In short: He gets it. He works really hard, puts the project first and is more than fair to say the least in what he charges. I give him the highest of recommendations. You won't regret working with him.
Ps. He is calm and friendly as well. He puts the client at ease knowing we're in safe hands.
