We hired Kendra as our day-of wedding coordinator. To give you some context, we are a couple that finds comfort in planning minute-by-minute timelines and we had a very specific vision for our ceremony/reception. After realizing we would need someone to entrust with our plans, we hired Kendra to execute our grand vision as well as the small details. It was a decision that we do not regret. She's such a joy to work with, offers thoughtful feedback, and has a can-do attitude. When we asked her if should wanted to visit our venue, she said yes. When we asked her to join us for rehearsal the day before, she said yes. And when we gave her so many day-of asks--often confusing and sometimes conflicting--she didn't hesitate to say yes. We are so grateful to get to know her (and her beautiful kids) and truly believe that any couple would be blessed to have her as a coordinator. Kendra was nothing short of AMAZING! Kendra helped keep my family from taking over and helped us realize our vision for the wedding day. She created a thorough timeline and helped us keep to it, photos went seamlessly, any rogue family members were handled with care and respect, all vendor issues were filtered through her and handled without me even knowing there were any, and I knew I could trust her to create a beautiful space for our ceremony and reception. I originally intended to care of all wedding planning on my own, but realized I would be overwhelmed. When I started searching for day of wedding coordinators, it seemed most were overpriced. I then decided to go on thumbtack and was pleasantly surprised when I decided to hire Kendra. She went above and beyond and for more than a reasonable price. Not only did she help coordinate the day of, she made the effort to meet with me when she was in town, responded quickly to my messages/emails, helped me create and borrow half of my décor, took care of missed wedding cake order the day of my wedding, bought groceries for us for a various events and dropped them off at the appropriate locations, and the reception set up was beautiful! She was very organized and respectful. And her calm demeanor and willingness to help and empathize with a bride was her best quality. I truly appreciate all the she did for me and my now husband and can't thank her enough. If I ever had to plan another event, I would hire her in heartbeat.
