Yaella's Yoga & Health Coaching

Yaella teaches private and group classes of hatha yoga to all levels of students and seniors. She is articulate and versed in anatomy and explains the poses to students well, so they gain strength and flexibility (without injury) as well as an understanding of the benefits of yoga and a practice to listen to one's body. She has been practicing yoga herself since 1995, received her teaching certificate in 2009, and started teaching yoga to seniors that summer. She trained originally as a dancer and Thai yoga massage therapist starting at the young age of 5 in Bangkok, Thailand, where she was born and raised. Yaella has an intuitive, experienced understanding of movement, balance and flow in the body as well as in the body-mind connection. She has specialized in teaching private or smaller classes of yoga to impart a stronger awareness and sensitivity to the challenges and art of aging with health and agility. She tailors her classes to each student's needs and injuries to assure his/her safe and gradual improvement and conditioning. Her classes may include pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (postures), self-massage, chanting and hands-on adjustments to bring awareness, strength, greater circulation, stress relief, healing and presence. Yaella also offers healthy, yummy lifestyle coaching to students interested in deepening their commitment to their health and well-being. Coaching programs are for 6 months and include focus on diet, nutrition, exercise, lifestyle and rest. Please inquire for additional information.
