Working with Tammy has been life changing. The amount of love and care she puts into her work has really shown in her training with our little Whiskey. We had opted for the 3 week board and train. Before meeting Tammy, I was worried my dog would never be able to break his fearful anxiety and special "selective hearing" condition. He was stubborn to a fault, and that worried me. Upon consultation, Tammy eased my worries and agreed to take him on. 3 weeks later and he was a different dog!!! I was amazed. He is well behaved, listens to every command, and even tolerates other dogs. It's been a couple of months since the end of the program. She has worked with him weekly since then and he continues to make great strides while remaining consistent. We even have decided to start boarding him with her once a month just so she can keep him in check. Lol Tammy, we adore you. We thank you so much for everything! Whiskey thanks you, too!
Marina is the best walker we could have hoped for. Our dog is so specific and he absolutely adores Marina. I don't know what we would do without her. She communicates with us all the time and is able to handle our boy. We trust her and feel comfortable boarding him with Marina too. Happy dog, happy owners.
Holly is an excellent dog trainer! She uses solid training methods to produce reliable results, no matter the behavior, breed, temperament, history, etc. Her training approach moves beyond correcting specific issues; instead she addresses the overall mindset of the dog to produce a calm, balanced and HAPPY dog, which then eliminates any and all behavior problems. That's what I call effective dog training! Beyond her skill with dogs, she is equally skilled with teaching people how to employ the training techniques. She is a joy to work with--she has a positive and supportive attitude, clear communication, and a genuine desire to help folks foster a desirable relationship with their dog(s). I have had the pleasure to work with Holly over the last several weeks to address my dog's leash reactivity and fear based dog aggression. In ONE session my dog was able to walk past several packs of dogs barking and lunging behind fences with no issue whatsoever. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it with my own eyes (and boy did my dog look proud of herself!)! We look forward to continuing our training with Holly so my dog can earn off leash privileges at dog beaches, camping, etc. If you are seeking a dog trainer, save yourself the trouble of looking elsewhere and start with Holly! You and your dog(s) will be glad you did.
I was truly satisfied with the boarding of my dogs. They made me feel comfortable and also were kind and loving to my dogs. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. Wonderful job Krystal
John has been taking care of my dogs for well over a decade. He is 100% reliable and trustworthy and dogs love him. he has always been very accommodating and helpful and with my second dog, he actually picks my dog up from my workplace for his walks. John also does dog boarding and I feel very confident leaving my dog there because I know he will get plenty of exercise and attention. John is the best dogwalker I've ever had.
Ann's animal boarding is fantastic. They satisfy our needs and worries. Honestly, my boyfriend and I afraid to travel since we have two chihuahuas and one kitty . We had experienced serveral failed dog boarding at else places, expensive costs and pets at home sickly afterwards that kept us not dare to try. Usually call friends to help out. However, this time no one available and we need to go business trips for two weeks. Thank you so much Yang, your family saved us. I love the short video you sent to us everyday and our dogs lively when we back. Can't wait our next trip.
Iʻve been delighted with the service that Isabel and her Surf Dogs company have provided me and my dog Ressie for the last couple of years. Isabel is flexible, always accommodating last-minute changes in my schedule. Sheʻs also great for overnights or long-term boarding--Ressie always comes home a happy little dog, whether sheʻs been on a several-hour walk or an overnight stay. She enjoys all her pals--human and canine--at Surf Dogs. And so do I!
Michele was a wonderful dog sitter. I was out of options with friends to watch Niko and my experience with Michele was easy, friendly, and casual. She took wonderful care of my pup. I would definitely use her again!

I have worked with a few different organizations, fostering and working as a kennel assistant and animal behaviorist. I handle large to small dogs, aggressive to abused dogs, from giving baths to clipping nails, grooming, kennel training, puppy training and much more. I have been working with dogs for over 15 years, and I enjoy it to the extreme! Boarding: As of right now, I board only four different dogs from four families at once. I believe that it's very important to give my clients the most attention needed as possible while their moms and dads are away! I love being able to give one-on-one attention. When dogs are placed in a new environment, it's very important to give them the most comfort possible and to make my home their home away from home! My focus is all on the dogs! I run my boarding business out of my single-family home, and it's comfortable, cozy, clean, and warm! I have a nice, small, gated, and safe backyard for some outdoor air, and I use my garage as a playroom for the dogs to run around in and lounge in! I strongly suggest to bring you and your pooch over for a short visit before deciding to to have me board your special furry friend! My services include the following: * 3 to 4 times a day of long walks * Dog parks (weather permitted) -- I enjoy Pt. Isabel Park, Richmond, CA * Cage free daily (unless for training purposes only) -- During the evening, I do crate them for safety at night. * Crate training * Leash training * Baths before going home; it's free of charge with a three-night stay or longer * Light grooming * Nail clipping * Free night if dropped off on the night before you leave, between the hours of 9 and 11 p.m. with a two-night stay or longer * Pickup or drop-off with an extra small fee in the East Bay Dogs with special needs are okay. Special instructions are okay, as well as medications. I send picture updates on how your pooch is doing daily through email or picture mail to your cell phone! (doggy cam soon) All dogs must be on flea medication at the time of visit. If we see fleas, we will give them a shampoo flea dip and apply advantage for an extra cost of $20.00, to keep our canines happy, healthy and clean of fleas. Boarding Prices: This includes full-day care and overnight stay (Holidays are the same prices; they never increase). We also offer long-term boarding! All dogs must be picked up by 7:00 p.m. on any given day; after 7 p.m., we do charge $10.00 per hour for additional care after 7 p.m. We have the following rates: * Extra large dogs -- $55.00 per day; second is $50.00 * Large dogs -- $45.00 per day; second dog is $40.00 per day * Medium dogs -- $35.00 per day; second dog is $30.00 per day * Small dogs (under 20 lbs) -- $25.00 per day; second dog is $20.00 per day Day Care: We will soon have openings for full-time day care, and we are asking if you are looking for full-time day care soon. I have been caring for dogs & pets over the past 15 years. I walk on & off leash dogs in the Oakland Hills - Redwood Regional Park Trails and the Marina, for dogs who love to swim! My clients are typically my neighbors living in the Piedmont & Montclair area, with some exceptions. I am First Aid Certified , Licensed & Insured. I Board a small number of dogs in my home for short & long term stays. All dogs must be well trained.
My work is done out of the comfort of our own home. This helps dogs to feel like they are not in any type of trouble or being left behind. Since we are man and wife running this business we bring a family feel to each dog we meet. We are also willing to work with people on a budget we understand that now more then anything is a time where most people are not at where they want to be finacialy including ourselfs.
Because I am professional, have resources to support my work (Vet Tech), and work with only a few animals at a time.
