Introduction: I am Russian-educated piano teacher and active performer, and I am accepting new students. Piano lessons are the perfect way to connect with the world of music. Whether you're an adult beginner, an advanced student, or looking to introduce your child to music, or anything in between, I can help you with all your music goals. Drawing on 30 years of professional experience and high standards of Saratov Conservatory, I've taught everyone, from 5-year olds to 60-year olds, beginners and advanced, and of course, people who just want to have fun at the piano! Many of my students were nationally recognized and received numerous music awards, some of them became professional musicians and artists. Everyone has a different background and goals, which is why I cater each of my lessons to the needs of the individual student. Whether you're a beginner or a very advanced student, I believe that the piano should be an enjoyable experience. I love classical music, jazz and recently became fascinated with tango. Length of the individual lessons can vary from 30 up to 60 minutes, depending on student's needs and age. My studio is in South San Jose. -- Tatiana

My daughter was 4 years old when she started taking piano lessons with Tatiana, with practically no prior experience. We've been taking classes for almost a year now, and the results are tremendous! At not even 5 years of age, she can play with both hands, read music, and knows all her intervals and counts. Tatiana constantly engages her in music, making it fun and exciting. She selects the music pieces which are appealing for a 4-year-old, yet are challenging enough to improve her technique. Tatiana has endless patience, and works with the child to make the experience both rewarding and stimulating. My daughter loves coming to her class, and I am very happy with her musical development. I highly recommend Tatiana to anyone looking for a great piano teacher.

My son has been studying piano from Tatyana since he was 5 or 6. He is 9 now and he can really play! I am always so impressed during recitals that Tatyana holds regularly for her students. My son, who cannot normally hold still for longer than 2 seconds, is so composed, focused and precise. The concerts-recitals are held for all students and their families and you can see students of all ages from 4 to 54. They are followed by a small socializing party which is so personal and lovely. Tatiana is a very attentive, personable and caring. She takes each of her students seriously and you can see her inner dedication right away. People who start lessons with her gain not only a fantastic classically Russian -schooled piano teacher, but also - a friend. Here is a copy of the last program for those of you who are music lovers and would like to see this teacher wonderful classical repertoire: Concert Program 2012 December 16 1. I have known Tatiana Sirotina for about 2 years now and all I can say is, she is an excellent teacher. The progress that my daughter made during her lessons with Tatyana as a teacher far exceeded any expectations I had and demonstrated to me what a wonderful teacher she is. Not only did my daughter grow as a piano player she gained more confidence in herself. Playing and practicing the piano was not a chore but rather an activity she performed happily and voluntarily. Tatyana was able to impart her enthusiasm and love for music onto my daughter. Rather than work directly from a piano lesson book, she would play different pieces of music and allow my daughter to choose what she wanted to learn. She customized the music and lessons to her current skill level while at the same time providing challenges to keep the learning process going. During recitals she was very proud of each and every student. Each student, regardless of their level of knowledge, performed their piano piece with excitement and enthusiasm. It was evident that Tatyana encouraged each student to bring part of his or her own character into the music. Tatyana made learning the piano a magical thing. I highly recommend Tatyana as a piano teacher and am envious of her future students who can experience her contagious passion and love of music first hand. Sincerely, Olga Rumpf
