Highly recommend Chaojun's services. He's extremely professional and humble. He responded to my short-notice post almost right away, came on time, did the job very quickly and well -- really went above and beyond! He assembled my Ikea table, put up 4 floating shelves, and changed my shower head all in under and hour and a half! I will definitely call him again! Thank you, Chao!

Austin was the perfect handyman, arriving early and leaving plenty of time to install my standing desk and flip-up table. Austin made sure that both fixtures were solidly in place, and even installed some additional brackets to provide the desks with extra support. He had a great attitude and was thoughtful with his time, finishing long before I had to attend an event in the evening. Affordable and highly recommended. Would definitely hire again!

My husband and I were looking for help on a few odd jobs we needed done in the house, but it was very difficult to find someone to help. We wanted to install a fireplace mantel, an attic ladder, and a new sink with a disposal. Apparently, the jobs were just too small for most contractors. I found Edwin on Thumbtack and then checked out his personal website. He came out to see what work would be required, gave a very reasonable estimate, and scheduled a time to come do the work. When he arrived, he not only did the work quickly and professionally, but he explained what he was doing and why. My husband and I were very grateful since we want to learn how to do things ourselves. Unfortunately, as we were cleaning up, an item fell and nicked our wood floor. Edwin had to leave, so my husband and I did what we could to repair the floor. Nothing worked, so we called the original installers. It cost $50 to get them to come out, and they estimated the repair would cost more than $300. I contacted Edwin to see if he had any other suggestions, and he came out that same weekend and fixed the floor in under 45 minutes. We had all the materials, so it cost us nothing! I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and my husband and I will call him in the future if there is ever anything we don’t feel comfortable doing ourselves. Edwin is amazing!

We hired Esdras for two jobs around our house. Esdras did an entrance door step remodeling for us which required some skills to customize this project. Since he did a great job we asked him to fix our two entrance gates to the backyard and to install some improvements around the landing deck of our pool area. All the jobs were accomplished in a timely manner with attention to detail. Esdras is very punctual, easy to talk to and courteous. The pricing for the project is absolutely fair without any surprises. We will definitely hire Esdras again for one of our next projects around the house.

After we decided to move from CA to PA - we had to find a very good moving company. Budget was not my concern. I was willing to pay a good amount just to make sure the safety of my valuables. The glass shelves, Victorian sofa, piano, pool table and the crystal ware worried me a lot. So, I decided on the best in business which was American Choice Van Lines movers. They proved my decision a worthy. Yes on thing more was that this decision was taken on the basis of many good reviews I read online about American Choice. These guys have packed, moved and setup all my stuffs within a very quick time and without damaging anything!! I checked the inventory and did not even get the tiniest of chances to complain. This spoke large volumes in pertinence to their good work and ability to transport goods in an organized manner. Yes, American Choice Van Lines was expensive than the other ordinary companies but they have justified what they charged. Thanks guys, you were great and I would definitely hire you again if I would ever need moving assistance. Take Care and thank you once again you chaps were remarkable.

scott is very reliable. He called to confirm then called to reconfirm. He was on time. Did exactly what was needed and agreed to and did do in a very timely manner. He knows his sheet (sp). Also he has his own tools a small SUV to hes equipped. withing 2 minutes of him doing the furniture assembly it was obvious he knows what he is doing. Finally his bid was fully 1/3 of how much Cost Plus World Market charges to do exactly the same job..He picked up the 5 boxes of unassembled wood furniture and he hauled it my home, on the third floor, and assembled every thing in about an hour:.. 5 large pieces . of solid wood furniture ( desk, coffee table, end tables , computer side table ( i love that piece) total cost was $95 big ( gave him$120 cause he deserved the tip) .. Cost Plus wanted over $300 ++ to do exactly the same. Also his is not Scott, thats his partner's name, his name is Roland . He can also do upholstery of all kinds, and claims to know all aspects of the trades. i believe it.

How much does it cost to restore a pool table?

Keeping your pool table in prime condition both protects your investment and makes it more fun to play. If your billiards table has been damaged by age or player misuse, experienced pool table repair pros are ready to help. The average national cost to hire a pool table specialist is $330-$400, but pricing can vary depending on how much restoration work needs to be done and the type and cost of materials you need. Depending on the type of pool table you want, the cost to buy one new can range from $1,000 to $5,000 and up, so investing in upkeep every few years makes good financial sense. Common pool table repairs include refelting the table, replacing cushions and cushion rubber that is has deteriorated or been damaged, installing new pockets or replacing damaged pockets, and fixing chips or smoothing uneven slate. You can also have wood pool tables refinished to restore them to their former luster, which may start around $600 and go up, depending on size, wood type and necessary repairs. Pool table repair pros can level an uneven table, repair broken leg mounts and address other foundational issues. Pool table repair pros can also fix coin-operated parts for commercial tables.

How much does it cost to replace pool table felt?

Owning a pool table, whether for pleasure or business, means investing in upkeep. Keeping the felt in good condition is important to ensure not only appearance but a smooth game. The national average cost to hire a pool table repair professional ranges from $330 to $400. A quality pool table is a major investment, so you want to hire a pro who is experienced and comes with glowing references. Refelting a pool table is a specialized skill calling for technical tools, competence with slate smoothing and repair, and the ability to provide a precision application of the felt that won’t hinder play.

When well cared for, pool table felt can last up to a decade; pros recommend replacing your pool table felt every three years or so, more often if you play heavily. Refelting and pool table repairs can cost more for antique and custom pool tables. Commercial pool table owners are wise to have multiple pool tables repaired at one time, as they can often get discounts for volume work.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
