- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are based on what forms need to be filed and their complexity. More complicated tax returns cost more. But I will say, that H&R Block charges $350 for the same tax return that I charge $120 for. When filing several tax years at once I like to give a discount. Price includes preparing and filing Federal and State Tax return along with a client copy which is provided.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I invite them to either scan/email/fax/mail/drop off all their documents (if they are looking to save time) then I will call them before I file to ask questions and go over everything. Alternately, they are welcome to make an appointment and meet in my office 7 days a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
California Tax Education Council- Certified Tax Preparer License: A154696 I am also included in the IRS's list of Annual Filing Season Program Participants, who have been properly certified and vetted to provide outstanding service.
