- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly on the hunt for ways to stay up to date and in the know. In May of 2014 I completed Intimacy and Relationship coach training through the Integrative Arts Institute. Next on the docket is looking like The Science of Willpower and Change offered by Stanford University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Raised in a family (of blood and chosen origins) that placed high value on the performing arts, literature, communication skills, and advocacy work these are all core values in my teaching and ethics alike. Body movement and dance have always been a huge part of my life and I have studied many different forms over the years. I taught in Public Education for nearly 10 years and worked with amazing children and families. I made the conscious decision to leave the red tape of public education and begin working with the communities in my life back in 2012. I believe that sex and sexuality education should happen for all individuals regardless of age, gender presentation, income, religious beliefs or systems, or any other manner in which we attempt to define ourselves as different from one another. My work focuses on opening the doors using a variety of communication skills to help individuals build the relationships they desire and deserve.
