Hi! My name is Jennifer Shaevitz and I have lived in San Luis Obispo since 1991. I love being outdoors, photographing/videoing sporting events and spending time with my family. I am passionate about capturing athletes in action with video and photography. Whether it is soccer, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, volleyball, waterskiing or surfing, I love shooting it all! I can also be your go to for putting together athletic highlight videos for college recruiting and/or personal use. And if theatre is your thing, I have experience photographing/videotaping plays and musicals.
In addition to sports, I also enjoy family, couple, individual and graduation portrait photography. Interacting with clients and putting them at ease in front of the camera is truly rewarding!

We worked with SLO Media Creations for high school athletic highlight reels. Jennifer filmed games, accepted outside filming, and wove together amazing videos set to music highlighting the talents of our athletes. In addition to being useful for collegiate recruiting, these are family treasures that we continue to watch as we relive our kids’ glory days at SLOSH. We loved our couples photoshoot with Jennifer! She was super easy to work with and made it a fun and lively experience. She is very professional and had a lot of great tips to help get the best photos. We had so much much fun frolicking at the beach and getting really natural shots. I really like her style and would 100% recommend!

Jennifer was amazing to work with for my sons' soccer highlight videos. She has completed one video with updates for my older son and is currently working on my younger son's video. She is quick in her responses, very honest about what works and doesn't, very open to adjustments and updates and such a great value for her service. I've sent the video to a few people we know in the soccer world, and they were just blown away with how well made it was! Even if you just want a video for your own use and not for colleges, it's a great piece of history you can watch for years to come. I highly recommend Jennifer!
