My wife is a food freek. She has an extensive library of recipes. She avidly reads all the cooking magazines adding to her collection.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My commercial work is anchored by my luncheons I have been making for 2 rotary groups for the last 15 years. My week end work includes weddings, birthday parties, retirement parties and unfortunately memorial brunches. My volunteer work is extensive. I cook a hot lunch including home made soup, salad bar, main course dessert and drinks for 80 -100 homeless people every Friday for the last 15 years. I also "at cost" cook for a numbe of organizations to support their fund raising efforts
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Last week I cooked for a wedding. The challenge was the venue.No styove, no oven, no hot water and no garbage removal. We worked through each of these problems and delivered a meal that was great. The mother of the bride was thrilled.
