Virginia V. says, "Wow! The yard was totally overrun with honeysuckle, Vicca vine, Virginia Creeper and morning glories. Slowly the vines were swallowing the hydrangeas, hostas, rose bushes. (Think “Day of the Triffids “ invasion.) Mitch and his crew extracted the flowering plants, destroyed the nasty vines and restored my terraced hillside garden to glory! Mitch and Troy came out and presented a fair bid and set the date for the take back the garden event. Good communication before and during the service. I appreciated the guys asking how to prune some of the specimen plants, and they asked before cutting if they didn’t recognize the plant (or weed). Care was given to the details and when finished the yard was restored and all mess and waste were cleared. This was a challenging job on a overgrown hillside, eclectic plants, 90 degree weather and a sprinkling of rose bush prickles and Beals Landscaping exceeded that challenge. I’m already booked for phase 2 rehab! I’m thrilled to say I’ve found a team that works with professionalism and high standards. My yard looks great again!"See more

Boy did Mother Nature work against us! We needed our new build yard graded in order to gain occupancy in the middle of the wettest winter. Mike was able to get the rough grading done in January to pass an occupancy inspection and then was able to come out in April and do the full grading. He was always available by phone and responsive to calls/text messages. I felt like Mike was always trying his best to get the work done right.

Fast response from the outset, I placed a project request on Angi as well as a few other businesses, but received no response-Double B was very fast to reply to my project, do a site visit for my lawn grading request & complete the job all within a week of posting my project; communication was great as they let me know what to do every step of the way & even contacted the utility company to spray for utility lines before completing the job; i was prepared to do this myself with just a shovel & my own back, but I am glad Double B was able to do it much easier- I would def choose them again, if I had another excavating or grading job to complete

We had ultimate lawn out to help fix some grading issues around our house and remove some badly laid landscaping rock. They got to our house around 9AM and had everything completed by 4:30PM. They pointed out some additional drainage issues to us and were able to fix it on the spot including leveling out some of our front lawn. They even found a buried pipe and got that fixed up for us as you can see in the photos. Overall, these guys were awesome, fast, and I’d highly recommend hiring this crew!

Working with Mike was absolutely fantastic. He understood our needs / wants and worked with us when we needed some opinion or guidance. He's an incredibly hard worker and I believe went over the top for our project. I'm hoping to add some before and after pictures here soon, because what we started with to where we are now is night and day. We had mounds of dirt, a torn-down and buried shed, and even bamboo taking over our backyard (previous owner.) As you can imagine, our drainage was a nightmare. We now have the makings of a great yard. Mike was personable, professional, respectful, humble and honest. I have 3 kids and they are asking when Mike will be coming back over as they loved to watch him working out the back window. I've referred Mike to anyone who mentions anything about yard drainage / grading and I can't say enough about the quality work and person he is.
