I had an outstanding experience with Gentile’s Landscaping. I had them install about 2000 square feet of sod as well as a path and grading after I built a pool. I plan on having them back in the spring for another project. I found a great company to work with going forward. If you decide to use their services you will not be disappointed.

Clean Cut Lawn Service provided terrible service and I am not even sure why they are listed as a screened contractor for Thumbtack. After he finally provided a written estimate, he contacted me after starting the job to change the estimate (from $1600 to $2275). We agreed on the work to be completed, but he never sent the written estimate and didn't follow instructions to grade the land using the dirt as instructed. He stated that the dirt couldn't be use for leveling along the side of the house because it was bad dirt. Why would he finish the grading and then bring this up. He stated he only had a small area to seed and straw the next day and ask for the payment. He stated that he couldn't accept credit card payment and I provided a check. I provided the full payment and he didn't return to complete the remaining seeding and straw. The next day it rained and because he didn't level the area on the side of the house (actually made it worst), the area flooded. I contacted him and he stated that I needed to order more dirt to resolve the problem that would cost an additional $350. After all this, he wouldn't provide a receipt for my payment. I wouldn't use this contractor again or recommend him.

Jose is simply the best and I would highly recommend him for any landscaping job that you have. He is professional, prompt and cares about his work and making his customers happy. I had never used Thumbtack before but needed my backyard graded. I read his review, emailed him and he came to my house on a weekend, we reviewed the project, obtained the cost and he started 4 days later. My yard looks absolutely terrific and I so appreciate everything that they did. Like I said above, he is the best. I have recommended him to other friends and I know they will be as happy as I am. A BIG THANK YOU MR. GARCIA.
