I simply turned the knob, and it detached. The mixer is heavily corroded and requires replacement. It was bound to fall off eventually due to its poor state. As I had previously informed you, it can be repaired, but you will need the appropriate replacement part. Once again, these are definitely items that require attention, but this is not what you hired me for. I was unaware of these issues until I arrived at your residence today. You did sign and agree to charge my service charge fee, which included replacing your showerhead. I am certain that $100 per hour for a professional plumber is approximately correct, and I am also certain that they have a minimum charge. I apologize for your dissatisfaction, but I did the job for which I was hired.
