Makeup by Jules is awesome! I couldn't ask for a better makeup artist! Julia is fantastic at what she does. I felt so comfortable working with her and she made me look absolutely beautiful! My bridal party was gorgeous as well. Julia truly has a talent for makeup. I would recommend Makeup by Jules any day!

Julia did my makeup for my wedding and made me feel so beautiful on my special day. She took the time to make me feel comfortable during the trial run so I knew before my wedding day that my makeup was one thing I didn't have to worry about, and that was a big relief for me. Julia was amazing! Her makeup job was fantastic and went above and beyond my expectations. I fell in love with the glamorous look she gave me. She airbrushed my makeup on, and gave me really cute smoky eyes with eyeliner wings, did my eyebrows fabulously, and finished it up with a fabulous lipstick color! It lasted all night, even though she said to bring some powder and lipstick to touch up throughout the night because my event was Prom, which happened to be several hours on a boat out at sea. Julia's service was excellent craftsmanship at a very reasonable price, and that really made my day, since prom can be such an expensive event nowadays. Great for ladies on a budget. Julia is also so sweet and is a very nice person to chat with while she does your makeup. I felt like a goddess! Thank you so much, Julia!!

Julia was amazing. She was friendly yet professional from the get go. She even gave me a referral for a makeup artist that she works with. Even though she lives closer to San Diego, she had no problems driving up to Anaheim area to do both my trial run as well as on the big day of my wedding. That means she had to leave 5:30 am to get to me and have me ready on time for pictures! Julia was even a little early to where the hotel we were staying didn't even have the room properly prepared. She brought an assistant with her and together they did 4 bridesmaids, my aunt, mom, and mother-in-law, my flower girl, and of course me! She did such a great job and even posed for my photographers for my getting ready photos. Before she left she even left me a tiny lipstick I could use for touch ups. Everything went as planned. I am so grateful I hired her! Even after my husband smashed cake on my face and wiped my face with a napkin, I freaked out cause I thought he wiped off all my makeup and almost pulled off an eyelash, but my makeup looked like I had just had it applied! Weird but awesome!

What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with a variety of people and in doing so, my makeup services vary from working with brides and providing wedding makeup, photographers & individual clients on photo shoots, fashion, proms and any special occasion.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to all clients is to make sure the provider you are hiring has a contract for both you and he/she to sign. A copy of the contract should be given to the client as well. Don't just hire anyone on a handshake!
