We hired Anthony for our wedding in April 2016 and were extremely satisfied with his services. Anthony delivered everything you could want in a DJ with flying colors. Let me break them down: 1) Excellent attention to detail and availability in the months-long planning process -- Anthony was eager to please and provided personalized service at every step. A couple weeks before the event, he spent 2 hours with my bride and I to consult with us and tailor our event and understand how we wanted it to be run, and what kind of music we wanted, etc. We were particularly pleased with pieces of wisdom and advice he offered regarding how to most effectively transition from one part of the event to the next to keep our guests happy. He's got great knowledge and insight because he's been doing weddings for so long. 2) Focused and adaptive day-of coordination -- Anthony was excellent at running the schedule and smoothly transitioning our guests from component of the event to the next. He was the guy with his head in the game throughout the night so that we didn't have to be thinking about anything. He stuck to the schedule, but also knew when to adapt and improvise on the fly. He was a great communicator on the microphone to our guests -- very authentic personality (and not at all cheesy, which I consider to be a pitfall of so many wedding DJs). 3) Perfect song selection and considerable skill as a DJ -- We picked Anthony because his personal taste in music seemed to match ours: old school R&B, soul, hip-hop, etc (although please know that this dude can spin any genre of your taste with skill...he's been around the block a few times before). All I can say is that he delivered in a BIG way. He has excellent taste in music and a seasoned feel for reading the energy of the room and keeping the party going. I can't tell you how many guests commented to me on Anthony's performance throughout the night. I received so many enthusiastic compliments on the tunes and the fades, and the little bits of scratching he did here and there. It was a perfect dance party for the best day of our lives. Whatever type of event you're throwing, I recommend Anthony with the highest enthusiasm.

Anthony was far beyond what we expected of a DJ. We had several cancellations from previous Djs and he was our last minute TT choice and we couldn't of chosen a better Dj. Anthony met with us the very same day we hired him and within hours he had contract and our itinerary typed in a word doc. His professionalism and knowledge on weddings was apparent and proven as we continued on our wedding day, he was on time, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our day went as smooth as possible. Later we found our he helped set tables and this was not part of his job, he excelled was organized and expert in his craft. We will use him for future events and cannot be more grateful we found him on thumbtack. Thanks Anthony you're the best!

Anthony was affordable, reliable, nice and went way out of his way to meet our needs. He is a great dj, helped keep the flow of the party, and everyone had a wonderful time. He also put up lights for us and put together a great slide show. I would definitely recommend him.

The biggest hope I had for my wedding reception was that our guests would dance and have a fun time, I got that and much more with Anthony! I have never attended a wedding with a dance floor as packed as ours was. He had a great music selection and accommodated some cultural dances we wanted played. Our reception was packed with sections (garter toss, bouquet, married couples dance, etc.) in-between music portions which made it entertaining for our guests, there were no dull moments. Anthony is very nice and creates a good flow of events. My family and I loved that he was able to MC in English and in Spanish. Gracias AntitDope!

Anthony is the BEST! From the beginning, he was responsive to all my needs, anticipating my needs and providing suggestions to bring my wedding to the next level. We hired him to DJ for our ceremony and reception, and to provide uplighting for the reception room. He did an amazing job! Before the wedding, he sent us a couple of spreadsheets so we could tell him what songs we wanted and everyone's names. We were not an easy couple to deal with, but he took everything in stride! First, a lot of the songs we wanted for our ceremony were actually taken from Youtube, and he had to find ways to transition from song to song, which he did beautifully. We were next to a waterfall outside, so he had to deal with that and still make sure everyone could hear everything. Then, for the reception, the uplighting was gorgeous and perfect. Almost my entire wedding party had Asian names that were NOT easy to pronounce, but he was so conscientious about going over all the names with me beforehand so that he pronounced everything correctly. Then he realized at the moment before the introductions that I had forgotten to include a name! So I had to change the order and everything on him on the spot, and he still did everything perfectly! He chatted up my Chinese father (who was very impressed by him!) and kept the party upbeat and fun even though many of my guests had a language barrier. He took song requests, directed the evening, and everything went smoothly. What an amazing guy! He really earned his pay with my wedding, and he was so WORTH IT!
