I've now been working with Adriana for a couple of years, and I can recommend her without reservation as a personal trainer. She knows what she's doing and she keep the workouts fun. She continuously studies new techniques and concepts and applies what she learns to her workouts. This helps keep things fresh. She's also very good at communicating so that you understand the purpose behind what you are doing. Adriana also has an excellent knowledge of physiology, which she uses to help me get through the occasional injury that at another time might have slowed me down. She has showed me some great warmup activities that have helped me to avoid injuries that I have had in the past. Adriana will help you get stronger/healthier, and she is a pleasure to spend a few hours a week with.

I thought the only way I'd get myself to a gym regularly would be to hire a trainer. Little did I know I'd not only get to the gym routinely, but I was stronger, faster, and more flexible than I ever thought I was! Having a child 2 years later, after 43 hours of labour, was entirely doable...who knew!? Adriana helped to bring out the best in me; she is never pushy or preachy, and always puts her clients first. What is remarkable about Adriana is her wealth of knowledge. She is constantly getting new certifications, learning new things, and applies them to how she trains her clients (and lives her life). Any trainer can kick your butt. Adriana finds ways to get you fit, reduce your pain, and encourages results that last a lifetime. I'm blessed to have found her and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone (unless they stole my session times with her!).

Adriana is a pleasure to have as a trainer. She took her time to find out how my physical condition was, what I needed to work on and help me get in better physical condition knowing that I will not be doing something incorrect or damaging to me. She is very knowledgable. I highly recommend her. She will help you get in much better condition in a safe and fun manner.

Over 6 private sessions Adriana recommended that I, at 77 yrs, work on balance and mobility. Simple exercises, encouragement, extra help, cheerfulness and patience are great qualities. She uses her vast knowledge of how nerves & muscles and bones work.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I train my clients at home and at my studio at Fitness 1119 in San Mateo. First, they have a consultation in which i assess their movement. Gait analysis, basic movement patterns. In the first session we set goals based on my clients goals not mine, and then I customize a Fitness program that includes exercising, and a holistic approach to reach an overall excellent state of mind and body.
