Wendy is a great teacher. She adjusts training to my learning habits and personality. I found her advice very applicable and useful outside of music, too. She's also very knowledgeable and detail-oriented. She patiently corrects my mistakes on the keyboard with full attention.

She taught me a lot about the pieces I was learning, including the history. She gave me a background understanding of the pieces I was learning and how it influenced how we should play it nowadays. Her classes are always very fun and interesting which made me regain my passion for piano.

Wendy is a good, friendly and highly skilled piano teacher with her own teaching method which makes lessons to be enjoyable. She guides me how the music should be performed and makes me understand the techniques well, not just by verbal instructions but also by demonstration. She always keeps me motivated and inspires me to develop as an advanced piano player.

Wendy is such a patient teacher and she is willing to use many examples to make you understand the piece better. Her technique is excellent as well. She also understand music and have a good experience on teaching piano.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would schedule a trial lesson to see whether the student and I are a good match. We would talk about goals and expectations. I’ve worked with many different students before, so during the trial lesson, I could give precise insights immediately on how I could help.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have plenty of experience in performing publicly, and I have a master’s degree in Piano Performance from one of the world’s leading music colleges so I am qualified to teach advanced students. I also have 10 years of teaching experience and have actually started my career teaching beginners and kids. I consider myself to be very versatile and flexible with what my students require.
