*How did Irina help you grow into a leadership position?*
First and foremost- Irina took a chance on me when hiring me- Not only had I never really had a full sales role before, but I also was coming from a completely different industry. Irina believed in me and recognized my dedication, passion, and past experience. She taught me the steps I'd need to grow my network and close deals. I soaked everything up like a sponge and implemented what she taught me immediately, and it paid off. In less than 2 years, I went from a senior BDR to a Director of sales at a successful ad tech company (which had huge financial benefits too). She has continued to help push me to believe in myself and have confidence in my work for my next step. I don't know where I'd be without her today.
*What kept you from growing into a leadership role before working with Irina?*
My mindset has been my biggest detriment. Also, like many women, we don't want to step on people's toes, even if we know inside we can do it. I can easily convince myself out of anything, or find an excuse to think I'm not skilled enough. Irina has made me a confident leader and I look forward to continuing to grow with her help.
*If you were to recommend Irina as a mentor/coach what would you say?*
I'd say do it, what's holding you back? You are in good hands! When I first met Irina- I wondered, how does she do it? Always poised, beyond organized, well kept, executes on every action, is one of the most positive people I know. With Irina, you will get someone who will change your mindset to believe in yourself, someone who will give you the formula for success- all you have to do is commit to implementing it, and you will get someone who will give you honest and straight forward feedback. I'll never forget when she was my manager after one bad pitch, she asked, how do you think you did? I answered- poorly. She answered, you're correct, that was not great, and it was not your best work. After giving me the feedback to improve, she said I believe in you and know you will fix it for next time. And I did. I think that story showcases the type of mentor you will get- someone who makes you reflect, pushes you, and believes in you. She can do wonders in a short period of time. I've learned more in a week from her training than I have in total in the previous 7 years in the workforce.
