- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $5 more for visits over 15 miles from my home. Sorry--I am not available for any overnight stays. **Customers should also note that my schedule does not include early morning visits.**
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Emailing and/or speaking on the phone, and if possible, meeting for an interview. I provide a complimentary 'introduction visit', as I feel it's important to meet both the people and their pets to learn the pets' routine, needs, preferences and any other special information about them so you will feel comfortable while you're away .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not exactly 'training', but I have spent the last several years pet sitting for both dogs and cats of different breeds and natures, so am very at home with them. I spent my youth and onward with cats of my own, one of whom was a special needs cat later in life. (See my profile narrative for more about me.) I have also cared for rabbits, exotic birds and hamsters...even fish! It's useful to know that I also have healing abilities, so animals (and people) can benefit from my energy. I spend a lot of time making friends with the animals entrusted to my care, and petting and playing are priorities. :)
