Introduction: For over 12 years, I have worked as a classroom teacher and tutor in both public and private schools in environments including Marin County, Oakland, San Francisco, and Hawaii.
Subjects I've taught include SAT prep (all sections) and all grade levels of English, Writing, History, Spanish, Economics, and Psychology.
Having completed the coursework for my master's degree in Counseling Psychology (from the Wright Institute), I have decided to focus on tutoring while accumulating internship hours for my degree.
In whatever capacity that I work with students, I bring a solid
academic background coupled with an enhanced understanding of the social and emotional issues facing young people today. I am passionate about teaching (and learning) and look forward to sharing that with you!

Dylan has exceeded our expectations as a tutor. His way of relating to and teaching children is exceptional. Our child looks forward to his time with Dylan as tutor, a mentor and as a friend. Dylan has been a great tutor and has gone the extra mile to develop new innovative techniques/language to help our son blossom. Specifically he has helped overcome challenges with math, word problems, handwriting and multi-step problems. Dylan also communicates regularly with our son's school teacher which is invaluable. Finally as a family with two working parents who travel a great deal he is totally reliable, a great communicator and flexible.

Dylan is an amazing tutor who not only teaches our son academics but real life lessons too. Dylan takes the time to get to know his students, their strengths, weaknesses and their passions. We highly recommend him!
