FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $280 for the 1st hour and $210 for subsequent hours and I have a package of 3 x 1 hour sessions for $650 where you save $50. You can decide after the first session if you want to pay for one session or the package and you would pay then. Most people get the help they are looking for in 3 sessions, some in just one or two sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally go to the home first to see how the dog is in its own environment. If the dog is problematic at the door we will address this later. We go for a “structured walk” where the dog is right by our sides. I show the dog what I want and I then show the client how to do what I am doing. We often deal with dog or people aggression by going to an on-leash park. I help the clients with whatever difficulties they have, like separation anxiety, aggression etc., showing them how to communicate clearly with their dog and helping them to learn and understand communication that works for a dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Senior Teacher of The Alexander Technique since 1992. Trained with Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer, in 2013. Completed Animal Animal Communication and Tracking course with Anna Breytenbach and Jon Young in 2015.
