My long-time CPA/EA retired, and I was in need of a new Tax Preparer on short notice. Also, this was the year I transitioned to Retirement, so lots of one-time items. Jay reviewed all the documents and prepared for e-file. Jay gave a very good explanation of everything, especially the unique items that had concerned me. Expecting this to begin a long-term relationship.
Our previous accountant left abruptly and really messed up our books right before tax season. Greg came in and not only fixed previous errors, but was able to learn the business and get us caught up in time for our CPA. Now we will be working on stream lining the accounting department and minimizing costs. Hes on time, professional and fits right in with our employees. My wife and I are retired teachers, homeowners, and rental-property owners in California. Together, we've survived the era of receipts clumsily stacked and transported in shoe and cigar boxes and then sitting hours in a stodgy waiting room to spend more untold numbers of hours going over those receipts with a stressed-out, overworked Enrolled Agent of a tax service. Never in the five decades of having to go through the ordeal of tax prep have we experienced such a painless tax-return experience. Cheryl & and I especially appreciate Mr. Dimov's (a CPA & Consultant) communication abilities in both answering questions and asking them. And, the speed of his discourse has been almost immediate in every instance, and certainly never late! We used to have to wait weeks, last year a month, to have our completed returns mailed to us in hard-copy form for us to then send ourselves via USPS to the IRS and Cal FTB. George completed our returns in less than 48 hours and the eFile docs were digitally sent off to the appropriate agencies right at the end of that process.
