Nerissa was professional yet very accommodating in her approach. She knows her food and went the extra mile to cater to my somewhat ‘fussy’ requirements. I’m not the easiest person to please and yet she managed to nail the brief and more. I will definitely call in Chutney Mary for my next catering too

I so appreciated launching our company's food truck lunch program with Narissa. Chutney Mary's came out, provided great food at great prices and was a great way to kick off a trial run at bringing food trucks to the office for lunch. In addition to bringing her truck out, Narissa was also incredibly helpful at suggesting her friends and helping me organize a new program of lunch options for our company. She was completely present, enthusiastic, offering suggestions to each patron, and serving up deliciousness with a flair. The chicken tikka wrap, samosa and lassi were delicious! The pork chile verde was magnificent. Mary's rice received rave reviews. I'm really happy to have found Nerissa early on in my search for the right truck to start with for our mix of vegan, vegetarian and carnivores. In response to the feedback she received throughout the trial run, she's planning her next visit! What a great person to partner with to build a successful food truck offering for a company lunch program!

Mary did a great job for my Birthday dinner and without much notice. The food was delicious. We will definitely use her for future events and our guests were raving over her as well. Thank you for a great night, Mary!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are some standard menus that I offer, for example for BBQ, Formal Dining, Appetizers/Tapas... but it all depends upon the type of menu my client is looking for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers on a one on one basis so that I may provide exactly what they are looking for. I love to provide my customers with choices that fit according to the budget they have in mind.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate student with a degree in Business and Hospitality Management from San José State University. I have managed kitchens in large corporate companies such as Google Headquarters, Apple and also held the position of Food Sevices Manager for the City of San José.
