Introduction: I believe you can experience freedom from food cravings, bingeing and mental obsessions. I've seen people recover in eating disorder clinics, private coaching and even myself. After my master's at Santa Clara, I now specifically focus on food cravings and mental obsessions related to overeating such as: - binge eating - bulimia - compulsive eating - stress eating I teach people how to be mindful of their thoughts. If you can be mindful of your thoughts then you can catch your thoughts and change them. Changing your thinking is at the root of healing from binge eating and other eating struggles. I can help you do that. In 2018 and 2020 I was awarded the Top Health Professional badge for my Intuitive Eating services to help people with binge eating. My background includes my master's in counseling from Santa Clara University and I am Certified in Intuitive Eating. Best of all, I have a unique coaching program that's entirely like nothing you've ever seen before. It's an immersive program based on frequent communication. Frequent communication is often missing in your typical therapy relationships, or your infrequent visits to the doctor. However, by working with a coach I can have a more communicative, professional and healing relationship with you. For example, one video testimonial that you can see on my website shows a woman who had binge eating problems for 40 years. She never had anyone to talk to about her struggles. Working with me, for the first time in her life, she could text someone and ask for help in the middle of a binge. I know this sounds crazy, but that's only because no one else is doing it. But it works. Why? The most critical moment in ending binge eating and overeating and all these crazy thoughts... Is being able to catch yourself right before you binge, and to write out your thoughts on paper so that you can detach yourself from your thoughts. However, this process is nearly impossible in the beginning without getting some in the moment coaching and counseling. That's where I come in. Definitely recommend Jared and his intuitive eating training because before working with Jared I had lost weight with a personal trainer on a strict diet but regained all the weight. My weight regain caused me to be suspicious and fearful of foods even!! Now I am totally relearning how to think about food by seeing my health as a skill I can improve at rather than a boring plan to follow. The best part about the program is having tons of ways to learn and stay engaged because my biggest challenge has always been motivation. Highly recommend this intuitive eating adventure it will definitely change your life to be much more happy!!!!!

Jared really takes the time to know you so he can evaluate your goals as well as your strengths and weaknesses. Not only did he change around our exercise regimine to find what best fit us, but he also focused on how we were fueling our bodies. I received some of the best advice on nutrition from him. He helped me to learn to listen to my body so that I didn’t leave every meal feeling bloated and uncomfortable. That has been a life-changer.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Bonus Session: Includes bonus 20 minute chat BEFORE 1st session Text Support: Text support included which is 1 follow-up text about all goals, 2-3 follow up texts about progress during week, and general encouragement. Please respect my time, however, text conversations about relationships and topics not directly related to job are discouraged.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I usually go over to people's apartments and bring my measurement tools and we do a mixture of workout, talk about health in between sets, and goals for the week. I am pretty easy going on payments just by the end of the week, no need for anything immediately after sessions. I work with about I'd say 75% for at least a few months - so if we aren't having fun together then it probably won't work out.

    Psychology master's degree, yoga alliance 200 hour certification, nationally certified personal trainer, certified wellness coach
