Joe Grasso and his team are absolutely amazing !!! I have trained with many personal trainers, most of them good ones, but none got closer to getting me fit the way Joe and his trainers have. He is professional, knowledgeable, kind and very in tune with what you need to do to get the results you want. Anyone can can open a 'gym' in an unfinished building without air conditioning, but if you're looking for a specialized program, tailored to your individual goals and needs, this is your place. This is a private gym, where you're time is scheduled, guaranteeing personal, one on one attention. No need to wait for weights, ever. Vanessa busts my ass! She's very knowledgeable and makes sure I know what area of my body I'm working out. After just 10 visits I lost a couple of inches. Excellent training, knows exactly how to help you slim down and gain muscle. knows more about how the body works than any trainer I've ever worked with. 10 visits I lost 3 1/2 inches and 7pounds of body fat. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Thumbtack Clients get a ONE-TIME 3-visit special for $165 including a body diagnostic test showing them how much fat %, muscle, girth measurements and 6 other health related statistics. After completing this special, the client can sign up for one of our packages and take advantage of the “built-in” discounts based on how many visits are signed up for. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1st Visit: I test your strength on 7 different lifts to get an idea of your strengths and weaknesses.....this is only done after I do the following on Day 1: I get your height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse. I take girth measurements over 10 different body sites which is done in private in front a mirror for you to verify. I measure body fat and complete my body diagnostic sheet which has body fat percentages, fat free mass percentages, telling you how many pounds of fat you have on your body and how many pounds of muscle you have. I also tell you what your BMI score is and your Waist-To-Hip Ratio. I tell you what your current body weight is and what your weight should be under ideal circumstances based on your fat free mass score. I also tell you how much body fat you have to lose to be at your ideal percentage. I give you your target heart rate using the heart rate reserve method. On your second visit, between supervised sets, I explain HOW your body works, in relation to muscle strength, contraction, composition, and energy production. Often times people will know more about how their body works after this visit than a majority of other personal trainers know. In addition, I show you my techniques which generally shows you muscle and endurance gains over the scores I got on your first test day. Remember, All ll visits are by appointment so it is basically like having this big facility all to yourself. A client does typically 25 minutes of cardio warm-up (in front of your own TV with 300 channels for you to choose from), 5 minutes of Abs, and then the weight lifting / resistance training portion is private and supervised and lasts 30 minutes (Physically that is all humans can do when the type 2X fibers are activated because your glycogen storage can only last that long). I know, I know, I get the people that come in here and tell me they train for 4 hours......only to have me show them in 15 minutes they are gassed with using the 2X fibers....and then they become believers!

Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1994. Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise since 1994. Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist with the American Council on Exercise. I am also a Certified Weight Management Specialist with the American Council on Exercise. I have 40+ years of Martial Arts and full contact experience (off and on) and real street fighting experience as a previous Law Enforcement and Gang Detective.
