Personal Training

Ray's training sessions are affordable and great value. He's open to tailoring his workout program to your goals and needs. He focuses on form, technique and safety during all the exercises and will not unnecessarily push you if he thinks there's any chance of injury or soreness later. He is patient in answering questions and providing feedback based on his personal power lifting and training experience. Ray and the other folks at the gym are very friendly. The gym is clean, well maintained and follows all COVID safety guidelines. Really glad to have found Ray on Thumbtack, I would highly recommend working with him for achieving your health and fitness goals!

Working with Personal trainer Ray has been life-changing. I had a dream to power lift and was referred over to Ray with no clue where to start but he was able to coach me, push me, and give me the knowledge I needed. I’ve been training over a year now starting off with powerlifting and now getting in the best shape of my life. I’ve gained much more confidence in the gym. Ray believed in me and pushed me until I reached my goals and even further. It’s always a great time and an amazing learning experience. Highly recommend Ray for anyone looking for a personal trainer.

When it comes to a trainer, fitness and the gym, I was super intimidated by it all. I always felt nervous trying to get fit, especially feeling like I’m going to be judged by others. I never felt confident that I would be able to get strong and truly feel confident in my own body so I just neglected my own physical health. However towards the end of the last year I was determined to change my lifestyle around and wanted to get back into health & fitness. When I was looking for a personal trainer my fear was feeling more uncomfortable and wasting my money and time. However my perception of the fitness, the gym and having my own personal trainer completely changed when I met with Raymond! First of all, Raymond is full of joy and energy! I instantly got along with him the moment I met him! I think it’s always important to find a trainer who can bring a little fun & enthusiasm but Raymond exceeds that haha. I always enjoy coming into my workout sessions with him & always leave feeling really good both mentally and physically. In addition, Raymond really puts his clients first and I really appreciate that about him. He is extremely understanding, honest & caring so I never felt hesitant when talking to him about cancellations, rescheduling, etc. I truly am glad I made the move to look for a trainer & thank you to Thumbtack, I got to meet such an incredible one! I started up with Raymond so I can get back on track with my weight training post Covid lockdowns. Let me tell you, I definitely made the right decision! So far, I have been loving my sessions with Raymond. He is very personable, kind, and tailors the workouts to your own goals. Ray is an experienced and a great trainer, I have never done any workout and I did not know where to start. Ray is very friendly and paid attention to my current body condition and gave workouts without getting injuries. He has helped to  improve my fitness. He gives me that extra push when I need it with my workouts. He's very encouraging and makes sure I am comfortable. I have lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks.

    I like to start by assessing my clients needs and goals by getting to know their personal drives. I also like planning effective workouts that are tailored those needs/ wants and their schedules as well.

    NCCA Accredited ACTION-CPT Certification, but education along with experience in the fitness industry are the main factors to a successful journey for my client.
